The KRISS Vector CRB G3 in .45 ACP pairs the brand's signature Super V recoil mitigation system with a 16 inch rifle length barrel, and this one wears the eye-catching Alpine White finish that stands out in a sea of black polymer. Instead of a bolt slamming straight back into your shoulder, the Vector's low mass slider redirects energy downward, which takes a lot of the snap out of .45 ACP and keeps your sights settled between shots.
The third generation gets reworked upper and lower housings with better ergonomics, improved texturing around the mag well, and a refreshed barrel shroud loaded with M-LOK slots on the sides and bottom for lights, hand stops, or whatever else you like to run. The 4140 chrome moly barrel is finished in Black Nitride for wear and corrosion resistance, and it comes threaded .578×28 so adding a muzzle device or suppressor is simple. Flip-up front and rear sights get you on target from day one, and the full length top rail is ready for a red dot when you are. It feeds from full size Glock pattern .45 ACP magazines, the same ones used in the Glock 21. This version ships with one 10-round magazine. Since Glock mags are everywhere, picking up extras is cheap and easy.
Instead of sending all the bolt energy straight back into your shoulder, the Vector uses a small bolt connected to a slider that travels downward behind the magazine well. That redirects recoil energy off the bore axis, which cuts felt recoil and muzzle rise noticeably. The result is a .45 ACP carbine that stays flat and gets back on target fast.
Yes on both counts. The 16 inch barrel is threaded .578×28, which is the standard pitch for .45 caliber suppressors and muzzle devices. Up top you get a full length Picatinny rail for red dots or magnified optics, and the included flip-up sights fold out of the way or co-witness depending on your setup.
It holds up well. The white is applied over the polymer housings and hard parts as a factory finish, and the barrel itself is Black Nitride treated 4140 chrome moly underneath the shroud. It gets you a carbine that stands out at the range without giving up everyday durability.
