Instead of the bolt slamming straight back into your shoulder, the KRISS Super V system sends a low-mass slider down and away from the bore, which sits below the trigger to begin with. The result is a .45 ACP carbine that stays remarkably flat, and follow-up shots come quicker than you would expect from a cartridge this size. The Gen 3 version keeps that signature recoil mitigation and cleans up just about everything around it.
KRISS reworked the upper and lower housings on the G3 with better ergonomics and more room to make the gun your own. The old shroud gave way to a square-profile Gen 3 handguard with M-LOK slots on the sides and bottom, so lights, hand stops, and other accessories bolt right up. You also get an interchangeable AR-pattern pistol grip, a reversible magazine release, an ambidextrous safety lever, and the KRISS folding telescoping stock with three positions. Low-profile flip-up sights come installed, and the full-length top rail is ready for whatever optic you prefer. Takedown is a tool-less 4-pin affair, so cleaning does not turn into a project.
The .45 ACP CRB runs on full-size Glock 21 pattern magazines, and one 30-round mag comes in the box. The 16 inch barrel is 4140 chrome moly with a Black Nitride QPQ finish and .578×28 threading, so it is ready for a muzzle device or suppressor down the road. Overall length runs 34.9 inches collapsed to 36.9 inches extended, with the whole package weighing 7.7 pounds.
