There's nothing else on the range that runs like a Vector. The KRISS Vector CRB G3 in .45 ACP uses the Super V system, a delayed blowback design where the bolt drops down and back into the frame instead of driving straight into your shoulder. That downward motion works against muzzle rise, and you feel the difference the first time you hammer out a fast string of big .45 slugs. Pair that with the striking Alpine White finish and you've got a carbine that shoots as different as it looks.
The third generation brings real upgrades over earlier models. The upper and lower housings were reworked for better ergonomics, with a reshaped mag well texture that gives your support hand something to grab. The new square barrel shroud carries M-LOK slots on the sides and bottom for lights, hand stops, or whatever else you run, and a full-length Picatinny top rail handles optics. You also get a skeletonized trigger with short pre-travel, an ambidextrous short-throw safety, a reversible mag release, and a standard AR-15 grip interface so you can swap in your favorite. Takedown is four pins, no tools needed.
The Vector runs on full-size Glock 21 pattern magazines, which means cheap, plentiful mags you may already own. KRISS ships this one with a 30-round MagEx2 extended magazine, so you're set for a long stage right out of the box. Flip-up adjustable front and rear sights come installed, and the 16-inch 4140 chrome moly barrel wears a Black Nitride finish with .578×28 threading up front for a comp or brake.
At 7.7 pounds with a folding, telescoping stock, the CRB G3 stores compact and shoulders quick. Whether you're chasing PCC division scores or just want the most entertaining plinker in the safe, this thing draws a crowd every time it comes out of the bag.
It feeds from full-size Glock 21 pattern magazines, and one 30-round extended magazine ships with the carbine. Standard 13-round Glock 21 mags drop right in, and KRISS sells MagEx2 extension kits if you want to build more high-capacity mags. If you already run a Glock 21, your pistol mags will work here too.
It genuinely changes how the gun behaves. Instead of the bolt driving straight rearward, it travels down and back into the frame, which counters muzzle rise as the gun cycles. Combined with the 16-inch barrel and the carbine's weight, .45 ACP feels soft and the muzzle stays flat during rapid fire.
Yes on both counts. The full-length Picatinny top rail takes red dots, LPVOs, or magnifier setups, and the flip-up irons fold out of the way when you don't need them. The barrel is threaded .578×28, the common .45 pattern, so most .45-rated muzzle devices and suppressor mounts will thread on.
It's built with that in mind. The flat-shooting Super V system helps with fast transitions and follow-up shots, the skeletonized trigger has minimal pre-travel, and the ambidextrous controls speed up reloads. The 30-round magazine capacity also means fewer reloads on longer stages.
