KRISS reworked the upper and lower housings for this generation, and the updates are practical ones. The magwell got reshaped side profiles and fresh texture for better support hand control, the pistol grip now swaps with standard AR15/M16 grips, and the mag release is ambidextrous and reversible. The biggest visual change is the new barrel shroud, which trades the old look for M-LOK slots, five per side and six on the bottom, so lights, hand stops, and sling mounts bolt on without extra hardware. Disassembly is a four-pin, tool-free affair, so cleaning day is quick.
The 16 inch barrel is 4140 chrome moly with a Black Nitride QPQ finish and comes threaded 1/2×28, so a suppressor or comp is an easy add. Low-profile flip-up sights come installed, and the full-length top rail leaves room for a red dot or LPVO. A pivoting single stage trigger, fixed KRISS stock, and ambidextrous safety round out the package, with the whole rifle weighing in at 7.7 pounds.

It feeds from full-size Glock pattern 9mm magazines, like those for the Glock 17. This model ships with one 10 round magazine, and aftermarket Glock-style mags and extensions drop right in. If you already own a Glock, your existing mags will work.
