The KRISS Mag-Ex2 takes the .45 ACP round count up to 30, and since it ships as a complete magazine there's no kit to piece together. Pull it out of the box, load it up, and drop it into your KRISS Vector, Glock 21, or any Glock magazine-compatible pistol caliber carbine. It's built on a factory-standard Glock magazine body and follower paired with the Mag-Ex2 extended baseplate, outer sleeve, and matched spring, so feeding stays smooth from the first round to the last.
KRISS designed this one around parts they already trust. The magazine body and follower are factory Glock components, and the extended sleeve and spring are made from lightweight reinforced polymer that keeps the whole thing tough without adding much heft. That combination is a big part of why the Mag-Ex2 has a reputation for reliable feeding in the Vector and Glock 21 platforms alike. Finish is a clean matte black that looks right at home on a Vector.
Seventeen extra rounds over a standard 13-round Glock 21 mag means fewer trips to reload, which is exactly what you want during a long range session or a match. One thing worth knowing going in is that extended magazines like this build up serious spring tension near the top of the stack, so those last few rounds get stubborn to seat by hand. The Mag-Ex2 is caliber-specific and built for full-size, standard-capacity Glock 21 magazines in .45 ACP. It won't work with reduced-capacity 10-round mags, compact or subcompact bodies, and KRISS doesn't guarantee fit or function with aftermarket magazines. If you're running a Vector, a Glock 21, or a Glock-pattern .45 PCC, you're in the right spot.
This SKU is the complete, fully assembled Mag-Ex2 magazine, so there's nothing to build. It arrives ready to load and use with a factory Glock body and follower already paired to the extended baseplate, sleeve, and spring. If you already own Glock 21 mags and just want the extension hardware, that's a separate kit-only part number.

No. KRISS builds and tunes the Mag-Ex2 around factory-standard Glock 21 magazine bodies and followers. They don't guarantee fit or function when it's paired with aftermarket or incorrect magazine models, so sticking with genuine Glock components is the safe bet.
