Yes, these are made for standard AR-15 and M16 lowers that use .154 diameter trigger and hammer pins, which covers the vast majority of mil-spec rifles. They'll also fit .308 and AR-10 pattern rifles that use the same .154 pin size. If your rifle uses large-pin Colt-style holes, you'd need a different diameter.
No permanent modification is required. The pins and their exterior side plates simply bolt in place using the included tool and hardware, so you won't cut or alter your lower. That means your rifle's resale value stays intact if you ever want to go back to standard pins.
