There aren't many handguns out there quite like the Chipmunk Hunter Pistol. Keystone Sporting Arms took the same manually cocked, single shot bolt action that made their youth rifles famous and packed it into a pistol frame built for adults. This version wears a blued 10.5 inch barrel over a camo laminate stock, and it's chambered in .22 WMR, which gives you noticeably more reach and thump than a standard .22 LR when you're after rabbits, squirrels, or garden raiders.
At 2.5 pounds and around 19 inches overall, this thing carries easy on a hike or rides in a pack without complaint. The bright fiber optic sights pick up fast in the field, and the trigger breaks around 3 pounds, which is lighter and cleaner than most factory rimfires. The bolt handle sits on the left side of the receiver, so right handed folks can keep a firing grip while they cycle it, and the metal cocking knob at the rear means the action only cocks when you're ready to shoot.
