KelTec took their proven bullpup pump action and trimmed it down to a 26.1 inch overall length while keeping a full 18.5 inch cylinder bore barrel. That means you get real shotgun performance in a package shorter than most youth guns, and at 6.8 pounds unloaded it moves through doorways and tight hallways the way a defensive shotgun should.
The party trick here is the twin magazine tube setup. Load 4+4 rounds of 3 inch shells or 5+5 with 2.75 inch loads, plus one in the chamber. A selector lever behind the trigger guard lets you pick which tube feeds, so you can run buckshot in one side and slugs in the other and swap between them in about a second. The middle selector position blocks both tubes if you want to hand-feed a specific shell. Spent hulls eject straight down, which keeps the gun fully ambidextrous and keeps brass out of your buddy's face on the line. It also digests a wide range of shell lengths, feeding everything from 1.75 inch mini shells up to full 3 inch magnums.
The integrated forend grip houses a 450 lumen KelTec light with a momentary switch, so your support hand controls the light without changing your grip. Up top, a full-length Picatinny rail is ready for a red dot or backup irons, and sling loops are molded in front and rear with a basic sling included in the box. The receiver is hardened steel with the mag tubes welded in place, while the grip and stock assembly is glass-reinforced nylon that strips down by pushing out two pins, which even store in holes in the grip so you never lose them.
A soft rubber butt pad takes the edge off heavier loads, and the roughly 5 pound trigger is respectable for a pump gun. For home defense, truck duty, or just something genuinely fun at the range, this black KSG-NR delivers a lot of firepower in a very small footprint.
