The JRC Spark Takedown in .45 ACP is one of those setups that makes a lot of sense the more you think about it. The carbine itself is built on a one-piece receiver machined from 6061-T6 aluminum with a hardcoat anodize finish. The 17-inch barrel is made from 4140 chromoly steel, button rifled with a 1:16 twist, and threaded at .578×28 TPI for suppressor or muzzle device use. The forend takedown tube removes with a simple twist, no tools required, and the whole action runs on a straight blowback operating system that keeps the design simple and reliable. The longer barrel also gives standard .45 ACP loads a meaningful velocity bump over what you'd see from a handgun.
One of the more practical features here is the fully ambidextrous setup. Both the charging handle and the ejection port can be configured for left- or right-handed use without a gunsmith. All the furniture is standard M4-compatible, including the 6-position collapsible buttstock and pistol grip, so swapping in aftermarket parts or upgrading the trigger down the road is completely straightforward. A mil-spec Picatinny rail is machined directly into the receiver for optics or other accessories.
The package includes the JRC Takedown Sling Pack, a 600D polyester crossbody bag purpose-built to fit the disassembled carbine along with magazines and small accessories. It works well as a low-profile carry option for transport to and from the range. Each JRC comes backed by a limited lifetime warranty from a company that builds everything right here in the USA.
