This 6mm-bore can uses IWI's Reduced Pathogen design to route gas away from your face instead of dumping it back through the receiver. The payoff is smoother cycling, less carbon gunking up your bolt carrier, and a much more pleasant range day, especially on gassy platforms like a suppressed AR-15 or Tavor.
The company that makes the Tavor and Galil didn't phone it in on their first suppressor line. The IWS6 is built from weapon-grade nickel alloy and stainless steel, CNC machined and laser welded into one seriously tough package. It's full-auto rated with no barrel length restrictions, so short barrels and hard use are fair game. The whole thing gets media-blasted and coated in high-temp C-Series Cerakote for a matte black finish that shrugs off heat and corrosion. At 6.4 inches long and 18 ounces, it keeps sound suppression strong without turning your carbine into a boat oar.
This version ships with IWI's HUB+ direct thread mount in 1/2×28, which improves fitment and alignment over standard HUB while staying backward compatible with existing HUB mounts you may already own. That means your current HUB adapters, ASR-style mounts, and other industry-standard hardware still work if you want to switch things up. The end cap is user-changeable too. The included vented cap keeps gas flow moving for the lowest backpressure, and IWI offers a closed cap separately if you want to squeeze out extra sound reduction.
With a 6mm bore, this can covers 5.56 NATO, .223 Remington, .224 Valkyrie, and 6mm cartridges, making it one suppressor that moves easily between your SBR, duty-style carbine, and precision bolt gun.
