The Masada Slim Commander Elite is what happens when IWI and Mischief Machine stop treating the grip module as an afterthought. Rather than selling you a plain Masada Slim and leaving the upgrade to you, IWI built the factory version with the full Mischief Machine Commander grip module already installed. That means a 7075 aircraft-grade aluminum frame, G10 grip panels, a pronounced high undercut, and a 1911-style grip angle right out of the box. It's still compact enough for daily concealed carry, but it shoots and handles like something considerably larger.
The aluminum grip module adds real weight compared to the standard polymer frame, and that weight works in your favor on the range. The heavier frame dampens felt recoil and muzzle rise noticeably, so follow-up shots come faster and easier. The G10 grip panels are interchangeable if you want to swap texture or color down the road, and the grip module's enlarged magwell makes reloads cleaner without turning the gun into a brick. The Picatinny rail is properly defined for accessory mounting, and the high undercut lets you choke up on the grip for better control. One important detail: despite the all-new frame, the Commander Elite maintains holster compatibility with the standard polymer Masada Slim Elite, so existing holster investments carry over.
The slide runs the RMSc Shield footprint, which opens the door to a solid lineup of optics including the Holosun EPS Carry, 507K X2, and Sig Romeo Zero. Iron sights are a white front dot with a blacked-out rear, giving you a quick, clean sight picture that doesn't fight with a mounted red dot. The barrel is a 3.4-inch button-rifled steel unit with a redesigned longer feed ramp for better feeding reliability across a wide range of ammunition. The flat trigger includes an updated safety fin designed to disengage consistently for different hand sizes, and the modular high-grade steel trigger mechanism housing pulls out cleanly for maintenance without a tool. The magazine release can be swapped to either side, a small but appreciated touch. Factory-included magazines are one 13-rounder that sits flush and one 17-round mag that adds grip length for a full firing grip. Both use the CZ-75 pattern, which means aftermarket magazine options are plentiful.
The Commander Elite shares holster compatibility with the standard Masada Slim Elite polymer model, so holsters made for that gun will fit. That said, since the Mischief Machine grip module has a distinct shape, holsters built specifically for the Commander Elite version will give you the best fit and retention. Pro 2 Customs and FPS Holsters both offer Kydex options designed for this exact grip module.
The Commander Elite uses CZ-75 pattern magazines, which is a real advantage because there are a ton of aftermarket options on the market at reasonable prices. It ships with a flush 13-round magazine and an extended 17-round magazine. The 17-round mag notably extends the grip length, giving you a full hand contact point for competition or range use.
The Mischief Machine aluminum module adds about 4 additional ounces over the standard polymer grip frame, and you feel that difference at the range in a good way. Felt recoil and muzzle rise are both reduced noticeably, and the G10 grip panels bite into your hand firmly without being abrasive. Side by side with the polymer version, the Commander Elite shoots significantly softer.
The slide is cut to the RMSc Shield footprint, which supports a wide range of popular compact optics. Confirmed compatible options include the Holosun EPS Carry, Holosun 507K X2, and the Sig Sauer Romeo Zero. The optic cut sits low enough that the stock iron sights provide a lower-third co-witness with most RMSc-footprint red dots.
It fits the compact carry category well with its 3.4-inch barrel and slim profile, though it runs slightly larger than a true micro-compact. The 13+1 capacity on the flush magazine is solid for a carry gun, and the aluminum frame's added weight actually helps manage recoil without making the gun cumbersome.
