The Jericho 941 has been around since 1990, and the reason it keeps showing up is pretty simple: it works. IWI's Enhanced version takes that proven CZ-75-based DA/SA platform and modernizes it with a polymer frame, a cleaner ergonomic profile, and a handful of thoughtful upgrades that make the gun more practical to live with every day.
The frame is the biggest departure from older Jericho models. Gone are the finger grooves, replaced by a smooth frontstrap with three interchangeable backstraps so you can dial in the fit to your hand. The polymer construction drops the weight noticeably compared to the all-steel variants, landing at 25.6 ounces unloaded, while the serrated steel slide and cold hammer-forged CrMoV barrel keep the durability where it needs to be. The barrel uses button rifling with a black nitride finish, which holds up well over time and makes cleaning straightforward.
The DA/SA trigger setup gives you real flexibility in how you carry and run the gun. The frame-mounted manual thumb safety allows condition-one carry, cocked and locked, much like a 1911. Pull the safety off and you're shooting single-action with a crisp, short-reset trigger. Prefer hammer-down carry? You can do that too. It's a genuinely versatile system for people who want options rather than a striker-fired-only approach. The Novak dovetail adjustable sights offer windage adjustment and are a step up from the basic fixed sights you'd find on a lot of pistols in this price range.
The Mil-STD 1913 Picatinny rail on the dust cover is full-size and ready for most compact weapon lights or lasers without any adapters. There is no decocker on this model, so if you want to lower the hammer manually, do so with care and proper technique.
