PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) is a vacuum-applied process that deposits an extremely thin but very hard coating directly onto the metal surface at the molecular level. Unlike traditional bluing, which is a chemical conversion of the steel surface, PVD offers better wear and corrosion resistance and doesn't require as much ongoing maintenance to look good. The result is a richer, more vivid color that holds up better under regular handling.

The pistol comes with a dovetail-mounted front sight and a fully adjustable rear sight, which is a meaningful upgrade over fixed GI-style sights.
