Made from 7075 aluminum, it's designed to work with the TTI Viper line, Staccato, SVI, Nighthawk, and Prodigy platform 1911s. You get Icarus's well-known aggressive grip texture that actually works when your hands are sweaty or gloved, plus an ergonomic magwell that's shaped to help guides rounds smoothly into the magazine well during reloads. The black anodized finish holds up to heavy use.
The full-size profile gives you solid material to work with across the entire grip. You're looking at a frame that pairs with compatible double stack pistols for enhanced control, especially if you're running tight groups or working double taps. The texture isn't one of those wimpy finishes either, it grabs your hand without cutting into your palms.
This frame requires Gen 1 double stack 1911 style magazine release and pairs with TTI or similar aftermarket magwells. We recommend having a qualified gunsmith handle installation. You may need to adjust trigger overtravel and pretravel to ensure proper function. It comes as a grip module only, so you'll need to source the mainspring housing separately if you don't already have one.

This frame is designed to fit the modern double stack 1911 platform including TTI Viper line pistols, Staccato 2011s, SVI, Nighthawk, and Springfield Armory Prodigy models. It requires Gen 1 double stack 1911 style magazine release compatibility. Make sure your specific model uses the right mag release style before purchasing.
This product is the grip module only. You'll need to source a matching mainspring housing separately unless your pistol already has a compatible one. Icarus does offer a mainspring housing as a separate component if you need it.
Icarus recommends having a qualified gunsmith handle the installation. You may need to adjust trigger overtravel and pretravel to ensure proper function and prevent damage to your pistol. If you try to force a fit without professional help, you risk damaging the frame or your slide.
