The Icarus Precision ACE 365 311 SL is built for people who want their P365 to feel more substantial and handle more controllably without sacrificing carry-friendly proportions. This right-hand slimline frame delivers the refined ergonomics of a 1911 double-stack design in an aluminum package that maintains the compact footprint you bought the P365 for in the first place.
This frame takes the proven P365 platform and combines it with a slim 1911DS-inspired grip geometry. Instead of the standard P365 polymer frame, you get precision CNC-machined aerospace-grade aluminum that improves rigidity and recoil management. The memory hump in the backstrap promotes consistent hand placement, so your grip returns to the same spot every time. The aggressive 360-degree texturing locks your hand in place during draw, rapid fire, and daily carry without becoming uncomfortable.
Unlike standard P365 frames, the 311 SL accepts Macro 17-round and 21-round length magazines, giving you access to more capacity options. The double-undercut trigger guard supports a higher hand position for improved control, while the flared magwell guides reloads more efficiently. A 17-4 stainless H900 recoil lug with double set screw locking keeps your slide locked in place with precision. This frame works with P365 XL and Macro-length slides, plus standard P365 slides when paired with compatible flush-fit compensators like PMM or Radian models.
Every Icarus frame is precision-machined to tight tolerances and accepts your factory P365 fire control unit directly. The natural aluminum finish develops character with use and pairs well with any slide you choose. Since the fire control unit is the serialized part of your P365, this frame comes to you as a component, allowing you to upgrade without paperwork while keeping your existing P365 FCU intact.
The 311 SL is designed to accept your existing SIG Sauer P365 fire control unit directly. You remove the FCU from your factory frame and install it in the Icarus module. This means you keep your original serialized part and just upgrade the grip frame itself.
No. The 311 SL is wider and has a different profile than factory P365 frames, so it requires an ACE 311-specific holster. Icarus Precision has partnered with several holster manufacturers to make compatible options available. Check your holster maker's lineup before assuming your current holster will work.
The 311 SL is designed for Macro 17-round and 21-round length magazines. Standard 10 or 12-round P365 magazines won't fit properly with this frame. This is an important compatibility factor when deciding whether to upgrade to this module.
The 311 SL maintains the compact carry profile of a P365 while adding 1911DS-inspired ergonomics without the bulk of full-size frames. Other Icarus 365 models like the standard 311 offer a thicker, full-size grip feel.
