HSGI built the Core Plate Carrier to do one job and do it well: hold your plates securely without weighing you down or cutting into your budget. This Large configuration is sized for large SAPI and commercial 10×12 plates, making it a natural fit for officers, students, and armed citizens putting together a quick-reaction or range kit. The whole thing runs on a proprietary heavy-duty nylon laminate with a rugged 1000D outer face, so it shrugs off the kind of wear that comes with real training days.

What Makes the Core Plate Carrier Comfortable

Comfort is where this carrier earns its keep. The padded, stretch-woven shoulder straps are adjustable and move with you, and the interior spacer mesh padding adds ventilation so you're not soaked through after an hour on the range. Side-release buckles on the straps make getting in and out quick, which matters when you're layering this over other gear or passing a kit between people during a class.

Building Out Your Core Plate Carrier

The Core is meant to grow with your needs. You get a 6×5 laser-cut MOLLE field on the front plate and a 6×6 on the rear, giving you plenty of real estate for pouches, placards, and whatever else your setup calls for. Large loop panels on the front and back handle ID and unit patches, and lash slots let you route comms cables or mount a body cam. If you want side coverage or more adjustment, the webbing loops on either side accept a cummerbund attachment down the road. There's even an interior label with blank space for a name or badge number.

Constructed in matte black nylon and made in the USA, the Core keeps things streamlined without giving up versatility.
