Yes. The 20 inch barrel comes threaded 1/2×28 from the factory with a thread protector installed, so most common .30 caliber suppressors and muzzle brakes will spin right on. Keep in mind that a short, light .308 has some bark unsuppressed, so a can or brake is a popular addition on this rifle.
No sights or optics are included with this model. The receiver is drilled and tapped, so you will want to pick up bases or a rail that fits the Howa 1500 short action pattern along with rings for your scope. Given the light weight, a compact hunting scope pairs with it nicely and keeps the whole setup easy to carry.
There is no way around physics, so a light .308 will push more than a heavy target rifle. That said, the HS Precision stock fits well and the recoil is very manageable for a hunting rifle you shoot a handful of times per outing. Running a suppressor or brake on the threaded muzzle tames it considerably if you plan on longer range sessions.
