It comes ready for one. The 22 inch stainless barrel is threaded 1/2×28 at the muzzle, which fits most common suppressors and muzzle brakes with the right thread mount. Just spin off the thread protector and you are in business.
No optic or rings are included, but the receiver comes drilled and tapped from the factory. Bases and rings for the Howa 1500 pattern are easy to find since it shares its footprint with the Weatherby Vanguard, so setting it up with the glass of your choice is straightforward.
This model feeds from an internal magazine with a hinged floorplate, holding 4 rounds plus one in the chamber. The floorplate design keeps the lines of the walnut stock clean and means there is no magazine to lose in the field. Unloading is quick by dropping the floorplate.
