Made in Japan by Howa Machinery, this action runs on dual locking lugs with a 90 degree bolt throw and an M16 style spring loaded extractor that pulls brass with authority. The HACT two-stage trigger is one of the better factory triggers you will find at this level, breaking clean and consistent without any gritty takeup. A three position safety lets you cycle the action and unload with the safety engaged, or lock the bolt down entirely for the walk back to the truck. Feeding comes from a detachable 5 round magazine, and the receiver arrives drilled and tapped so mounting glass is straightforward.
The Fence Line treatment means the barreled action wears a Tungsten Cerakote finish that shrugs off weather and dings, matched to a synthetic stock in the Gray Light camo pattern. The muzzle comes threaded with a radial brake already installed, so you can run it as-is, tame recoil further, or spin on a suppressor whenever you are ready.
