Make sure your Shield is unloaded and safe. Wet the inside of the sleeve with a little water or window cleaner to help it slide on smoothly. Slide the sleeve onto the grip frame, align it so it sits flush, and let it dry in place. That's it. Most people can do the whole job in about five minutes.
The sleeve adds minimal bulk to the grip profile, so most modern holsters designed for the Shield will still work. That said, if you have a very tight-fitting holster, test it carefully after installation. The fit is intentionally snug on the gun to stay secure.
