The Hogue 45001 is a one-piece OverMolded rubber grip built for the 1911 Government frame, and it's one of the easiest upgrades you can make to a full-size 1911. Instead of two flat panels, this wraps the frame in soft synthetic rubber that soaks up felt recoil while giving you a hand-filling contour. The finger grooves position your fingers the same way every time you draw, which pays off in consistent placement and better control during longer range sessions.

Fitting the Hogue 45001 to Your 1911

Grip screw hole spacing is 3 1/16 inches, and Hogue recommends tightening the screws to 12 in/lbs of torque using a properly fitting 3/32 inch hex driver so you get a snug hold without stripping anything.
