HM Defense builds this rifle around a 26.25 inch, 8-groove match grade barrel with a threaded muzzle, so you get real precision potential in a package that is a bit handier to move around than the longer barreled rifles in this class. The receiver is machined aluminum wearing a tough black hardcoat anodized finish, topped with a Picatinny rail that gives you plenty of room for the kind of glass a rifle like this deserves.
Up front, the M-LOK handguard keeps things trim while still giving you attachment points where you want them, and the Picatinny rail forend includes an integrally machined bipod mount so your support is anchored to solid metal rather than a bolted-on afterthought. That matters on a .50, where a wobbly bipod connection can eat into your consistency shot to shot.
