Running a full-size H&K USP and want a red dot without sending the slide out for machine work? This EGW sight mount is the clean way to get there. It replaces the factory rear sight by sliding into the dovetail, giving you a solid base for a Trijicon RMR footprint optic. No milling, no permanent changes, and you can pull it off and reinstall your iron rear sight whenever you want.
EGW machines these out of 7075 aluminum and finishes them in a matte black hardcoat, so the mount holds up to recoil and the elements without fuss. The footprint accepts a Trijicon RMR or SRO, and it also works with Holosun 407C and 507C optics that share the RMR pattern, which opens up a lot of good red dot choices.
This one is built for the full-size USP family: USP Tactical 9mm, USP Tactical .45 ACP, USP 9mm, USP .40 S&W, and USP .45 ACP. Worth noting up front that it does not fit the USP Compact, which uses a different rear sight cut depth, so make sure you have a full-size USP before ordering.
Setup is straightforward for anyone comfortable with basic sight work. You drift out the rear sight, slide the EGW mount into the dovetail, snug down the set screw, then mount your optic using the included screws with a dab of blue Loctite. A small piece of paper between the optic and the mount during install keeps Loctite off your red dot and makes future removal easier. The screws use a 5/64 inch allen wrench. It is a reversible setup, so your pistol can always go back to irons if your plans change.

No, this mount does not fit the USP Compact. The Compact uses a different rear sight cut depth than the full-size models, so the fitment is not compatible. You would need a mount specifically made for the Compact.
The footprint is cut for the Trijicon RMR and SRO. Because Holosun 407C and 507C red dots share the RMR footprint, they bolt right up as well, which gives you plenty of solid optic options.
No milling required. The mount slides into the existing rear sight dovetail and secures with a set screw, so there are no permanent alterations to your pistol. You can remove it and reinstall your iron rear sight anytime you want.
