With a front sight measuring 0.462 inches and a rear at 0.5655 inches, this set sits high enough to clear a suppressor and to co-witness through a mounted optic, so your irons stay usable if the red dot ever goes dark. It's cut from steel and finished in black, which is what you want on a sight that lives on a duty or carry gun and takes a beating from slide cycling and recoil.
This set is made for the standard slide cuts on the VP9, VP40, P30, and HK45 family. One thing worth flagging: it is not the right set for VP9 pistols with the factory optics cut, since those slides use a different dovetail and their own dedicated OR-height sights. If you've got an optics-ready VP9, grab the sight set made specifically for that slide instead.
Because front and rear heights are matched from the factory, you keep your point of impact where H&K intended without guessing at mismatched blade heights.
