It uses an all-steel frame paired with replaceable LitePipes to provide a bright, consistent aiming point in daylight and range conditions. The sight height is compatible with the factory rear, maintaining sight picture without altering point of aim. Pinned front sights require drilling for installation; gunsmith installation is recommended for pinned applications.
