The steel sights drop into the standard Shield dovetails, but installation goes smoothest with a sight pusher or a trip to a gunsmith. Pressing them in with the right tool protects both the sights and your slide from damage. If you don't have a pusher, a gunsmith can knock this out in a few minutes.
