There is something about a 24 inch octagon barrel on a Model 92 that just looks right, and Heritage nailed it with this one. This is the full rifle configuration of their 92 line, chambered in .44 Magnum with a polished stainless barrel and receiver paired against a fixed hardwood stock. It is the classic frontier era rifle setup, octagon barrel with the forearm attached by a cross screw instead of a barrel band, the way the old rifles were built. The stainless finish gives it a bright, eye catching look while shrugging off weather and holster wear better than blued steel ever did.
The Model 92 action was designed around pistol cartridges, and .44 Magnum is right in its wheelhouse. The short, slick action cycles fast, and shooting a magnum revolver cartridge through a 7 pound class rifle means recoil is downright pleasant. That long barrel also squeezes extra velocity out of the .44, turning it into a legitimate performer on deer and hogs at woods ranges while still being cheap fun with lighter loads. The tube magazine holds 12 rounds fed through a side loading gate, so you can top off as you go, and empties eject out the top just like the originals.
Up top you get a traditional buckhorn rear sight that adjusts for elevation and a drift adjustable front, a proven setup that is quick to pick up and easy to dial in for your preferred load. A thumb safety on the receiver adds a modern layer of control without changing the rifle's lines. The extra barrel length stretches the sight radius way out, which makes a real difference when you are trying to ring steel at distance with irons.

It loads through a side loading gate on the right of the receiver, feeding a tubular magazine under the barrel that holds 12 rounds of .44 Magnum.
