The big difference between this model and the standard Golden Boy is right there in the name. The oversized loop gives you extra room to work the action, which pays off if you have larger hands, shoot with gloves in cold weather, or just like the classic Western profile. The action itself is what Henry built its reputation on, cycling with a slick, effortless feel that makes burning through a tube of ammo way too easy. Speaking of that tube, it holds 16 rounds of .22 LR, and the rifle will also happily digest .22 Short and .22 Long, with capacity climbing to 21 rounds when running Shorts.

The Golden Boy's tubular magazine feeds .22 Short, .22 Long, and .22 Long Rifle interchangeably. Capacity is 16 rounds of .22 LR and up to 21 rounds when loaded with .22 Shorts. That flexibility makes it a great match for whatever rimfire ammo you have on hand.
