Harris has been the name in bipods for a very long time, and the S-L M-LOK version brings that proven design straight to modern rifles running an M-LOK handguard. This one clamps directly to the rail with no adapter block in the way, giving you a low, stable platform for prone or benchrest work. The head swivels (tilts) side to side so you can level the rifle on ground that isn't cooperating, which makes a real difference when you're set up in the dirt or on an awkward slope.
The S-L uses smooth legs rather than notched ones. Instead of clicking into fixed one-inch stops, the legs extend anywhere in the 9 to 13 inch range and lock at the exact height you set with a twist of the leg mechanism. That infinite adjustment is why a lot of precision and long-range folks prefer smooth legs. You dial in the exact position you want and it stays put. The legs are spring-loaded, so they fold forward toward the muzzle and stay tucked out of the way when you're carrying or shooting off-hand.
Construction is what you'd expect from Harris: heat-treated steel and hard alloys under an all-weather black anodized finish, with hard rubber leg caps that grip without slipping. The hinged base has a tension adjustment to take out any tremor or slop in the pivot, and there's a built-in sling swivel stud so you can still run a sling. At roughly 12.6 ounces it stays light enough that it won't throw off the balance of a lighter rifle. Made in the USA.
Setup takes a 1/8 hex key, which isn't included, so grab one from the toolbox before you head out. If you shoot prone, run a chassis or AR build, or just want a dependable field bipod that mounts clean to M-LOK, the S-L is a straightforward, no-nonsense pick.
No adapter is needed. The S-L attaches directly to an M-LOK handguard, so it clamps right to the slots on your rail. You will want a 1/8 hex key to secure it, and that tool is not included in the box.
