Getting a solid sling point on a carbine with a collapsible stock has always been a little fiddly, and the GrovTec Tri-Base Buffer Tube Sling Mount solves that without turning the job into a project. It's a two-piece clamp that wraps around a mil-spec buffer tube and drops three quick-detach sockets right where you need them. No punches, no springs flying across the bench, no pulling the stock off. You clamp it on with the included hardware and you're done.
The three QD receiver positions sit at roughly the 4, 6, and 8 o'clock spots on the underside of the tube, which gives you real flexibility depending on how you run your gun. Toss a swivel in the 6 o'clock socket for a straight-down two-point setup, or move it off to one side if you shoot with an offset carry or want a cleaner single-point feel. Each base rotates fully, so your sling can follow your body instead of fighting it.
GrovTec machined this from 6061-T6 aluminum and finished it with a Type III black hard-anodized coat, so it shrugs off holster wear, weather, and the general abuse a truck gun or range rifle sees. It does not include the swivel itself. The mount provides three QD receiver sockets, and you'll add your own push-button QD swivel to match your sling. GrovTec and plenty of other brands sell push-button swivels that drop right into these sockets.
