The GrovTec GTHL15102R Trail Pack is a chest-style shoulder holster built for folks who want their revolver secure and out of the way, but still within easy reach when it counts. It's cut to fit medium and large double-action revolvers with 3 to 4 inch barrels, and the offset angled carry position lets you get a smooth, natural draw without fighting your gear. If you've ever tried carrying a heavy wheel gun on a belt during a long hike or a stalk through timber, you already know why a rig like this earns its keep.
This is the updated Ergonomic version of the Trail Pack, so it uses a three-point shoulder sling and a padded Air-Mesh harness that spreads the weight across your shoulders and chest instead of dragging on one side. The straps adjust to kill off any bounce or shift, which matters when you're scrambling over rocks or climbing in and out of a stand. It's designed to wear either under a jacket for a lower profile or over bulky outerwear when the temperature drops, so it works across seasons without a second setup.
GrovTec makes the Trail Pack from 1000 denier nylon with a closed cell foam body, so it shrugs off weather and rough handling. A side-mounted quick release buckle makes it easy to get in and out of, the retention strap is fully adjustable to lock your revolver down, and there are ammo loops sewn in so you can keep extra rounds on hand. Belt loops are built in too, giving you a little extra versatility in how you want to run it. It's a right-hand rig and, like the rest of the GrovTec lineup, it's made in the USA.

It's designed for medium and large frame double-action revolvers with barrels between 3 and 4 inches. Think along the lines of popular .357 Magnum and similar mid-to-large frame wheel guns in that barrel range. If your revolver falls in that window, it should seat well in the retention pocket.

The GTHL15102R is a right-hand configuration only. If you draw with your left hand, this particular model won't work well for you. You'd want to look for a dedicated left-hand rig instead.
