The TALON Grip Rubber in black is a custom-cut adhesive wrap designed specifically for Gen 4 Glock 19, 23, 25, 32, and 38 pistols with medium backstrap. This version prioritizes comfort over aggression, making it a smart choice if you're carrying concealed or don't want grip material tearing up your clothes. The textured rubber surface grips securely without the skin-irritating harshness of sandpaper-style grips.
Unlike grip sleeves that slip around the handle, this wrap covers more of your pistol handle and stays put for years without stretching or shifting. The grip includes full coverage on the side panels above the thumb rest, solid backstrap coverage, and three finger wraps that follow the trigger guard grooves. There's a subtle cutout for the Glock emblem on the left side so it stays visible.
You'll get this on your gun in minutes with a hair dryer or heat gun to help with adhesive activation. Once it's down, it doesn't move. When you eventually want to swap it out or remove it entirely, the grip peels off clean with virtually no residue left behind. Most standard gun cleaning solutions won't harm the material, though you'll want to avoid aerosol-based solvents like CLP. You can expect one to three years or more of reliable use before wear becomes noticeable.

It's specifically designed for concealed carry situations where this is a concern. That said, any added texture will catch slightly more than a bare polymer frame.
Gen 4 Glocks come from the factory with no backstrap. The medium backstrap option (this one) fits both the medium and medium beavertail backstrap. If you've already installed a larger backstrap on your pistol, double-check its size before ordering. The grip works best when properly matched to your backstrap.
Once removed, the adhesive backing is spent, so you'll need a fresh grip for another firearm. The good news is removal is clean with little to no residue, and your gun returns to original factory condition. Each grip is model-specific anyway, so you'd want a version cut for your other pistol.
Rubber is smoother, more comfortable against bare skin, and won't tear up your clothes during concealed carry. Granulate (like sandpaper) provides maximum friction and is better for open carry or competition shooting but can irritate skin and snag clothing. Rubber is the versatile choice for daily carry.
