Great Lakes Firearms has been quietly building some of the best value AR-10s coming out of Michigan, and this seasonal bundle sweetens the deal. You get their GL10 chambered in .308 Win, dressed in a custom Lichen Grey Cerakote camo pattern that gives the rifle a gray urban look you will not find on the average black rifle rack. Riding along in the master carton are five GLFA out-the-front knives, each one packed in its own retail box, so you can keep a couple for the range bag and hand the rest out as gifts.
The heart of this rifle is a 16 inch 4150 CRMOV barrel with a black nitride treatment, 5R rifling, and a 1:10 twist. GLFA double thermally stress-relieves and air-gauges their barrels, which is the kind of attention you usually see on guns costing quite a bit more. The muzzle is threaded 5/8×24 and wears a brake to tame .308 recoil, and the rifle-length gas system keeps the action running smooth. Billet 7075 aluminum upper and lower receivers give the whole package a solid, tight feel, while the 15 inch 6061 aluminum M-LOK handguard leaves plenty of room for lights, bipods, or a solid C-clamp grip. A 6-position collapsible stock and mil-spec trigger round things out, and the flat top rail is ready for whatever optic you want to run since no sights are included.
Each knife features a 3.5 inch D2 steel blade with a 4.5 inch 6061 aluminum grip, plus a glass breaker and belt clip. Finishes come Cerakoted in an assortment of colors like black, tungsten, bronze, FDE, and OD green, and blades may be plain or serrated. These bundles only show up at certain times of the year, so when they are gone, they are gone.
Whether you are chasing whitetail, ringing steel at distance, or just want a .308 that stands out at the range, this package covers a lot of ground in one box.
No, this rifle ships without sights. The flat top upper and handguard rail give you a full-length Picatinny surface, so you can mount a scope, red dot, or backup irons depending on how you plan to use it. Most buyers put a magnified optic on these to take advantage of the .308 cartridge.
Each is an out-the-front style knife from GLFA with a 3.5 inch D2 steel blade and a 4.5 inch 6061 aluminum grip. They include glass breakers and belt clips, with Cerakote finishes in an assortment of colors like black, tungsten, bronze, FDE, and OD green. Blade styles may be plain edge or serrated, and colors are assorted rather than pick-your-own.
Yes, this rifle handles both .308 Win and 7.62×51 NATO ammunition. That gives you a wide range of options, from affordable ball ammo for range days to premium hunting loads for big game. The 1:10 twist barrel stabilizes most common bullet weights well.
It is. The 16 inch barrel is made from 4150 CRMOV steel with 5R rifling, then double thermally stress-relieved and air-gauged for consistency. Paired with a quality optic and good ammo, these rifles are well suited for whitetail, hogs, and other big game, and the muzzle brake helps keep recoil manageable.
