Pair that with a 1:8 twist heavy-profile barrel and you have a compact gun that stabilizes everything from 55 grain plinking ammo up to heavier match loads.
The 7.5-inch HBAR barrel wears a 4150 CRMOV nitride treatment for corrosion resistance and long service life, and it comes threaded 1/2×28 with a ported muzzle device already installed to help tame the blast a short barrel produces. A pistol-length gas system with a .750 gas block keeps it cycling reliably, and M4 feed ramps smooth out feeding when you are running it fast. Both the upper and lower are machined from 7075 aluminum, then coated in a bronze Cerakote finish that stands out on the rack without looking gaudy.
The flat-top upper gives you a full stretch of Picatinny rail for a red dot or backup irons, and the free-float M-LOK aluminum handguard leaves plenty of real estate for a light, hand stop, or whatever else you like up front. Keep in mind there are no sights in the box, so plan on adding an optic before your first range trip. It ships with a pistol buffer tube only, no brace included, which leaves the rear end of the gun open for you to configure how you see fit.
