After several rounds, heat radiating off a suppressor creates a shimmering distortion right in your line of sight, especially through magnified optics. Measure the tube of your suppressor before ordering, since a cover that is too long can hang past the end cap. GPS also makes 5-inch, 7.5-inch, and 8.5-inch versions if your can runs shorter or longer.
It is a nylon-shelled cover with a fiberglass and silicone heat lining, which handles typical semi-auto range sessions and hunting use well. It is not a high-temp ceramic or aramid sleeve, so sustained full-auto fire can exceed what any nylon cover is built for.
