This version takes that trusted platform and adds a full custom package you will not find on a standard production gun.
The Kavorka package covers the pistol in a Flat Dark Earth Cerakote finish, one of the toughest coatings in the business, paired with custom engraving that gives it real character on the rack and in the hand. Underneath the looks, the functional upgrades are what matter at the range. The slide is ported and cut for an RMR footprint red dot, and the barrel is ported as well, so escaping gas works to keep the muzzle flat between shots. Glock OEM sights are on board while you decide which optic to drop on top.
The V-Series keeps everything people like about the Gen5 guns, including the smooth grip with no finger grooves, ambidextrous slide stop levers, and a flared magwell for quicker reloads, while adding a redesigned internal system for improved safety and performance. One thing worth knowing: V-Series parts are specific to this platform and do not interchange with older Glock models, so keep that in mind if you like to tinker.
This Austrian-made pistol ships with three 17-round magazines, which is a genuinely useful touch since most handguns make you buy that third mag separately. Whether it becomes your nightstand gun, your range regular, or the base for a red dot build, this G45 shows up ready to work and looking sharp doing it.
The slide is machined for the Trijicon RMR footprint, one of the most common patterns out there. That means optics like the Trijicon RMR and SRO, Holosun 507C and 508T, and other RMR-footprint dots will mount directly without an adapter plate. The included Glock OEM sights keep it usable until you add glass.
No, and this trips people up. The V-Series keeps the Gen5 feature set but uses a redesigned internal system, so its components are engineered specifically for this platform and do not swap with Gen 3, 4, or 5 guns. Plan your parts purchases accordingly.
The ports vent gas upward as the pistol cycles, which pushes the muzzle down and cuts felt muzzle rise. The practical result is a flatter-tracking gun and faster follow-up shots, which is especially handy when you are running a red dot and want the dot to stay in the window.
It ships with three factory 17-round magazines, so you have a full loadout right out of the box. Since the G45 uses the full-size Glock frame, higher-capacity 9mm Glock magazines will also run in it if you want extras for range days.
