The Glock 19X has earned its reputation as the company's first crossover pistol, marrying the full-size Glock 17 frame to a compact Glock 19 slide. This custom build takes that platform and adds the upgrades a lot of folks end up doing aftermarket anyway: a quad-ported barrel, an optic-cut slide already wearing a Holosun 407C X2, and a camo Cerakote finish that sets it apart from every coyote 19X on the shelf. It ships with three 17-round magazines, so you're stocked for range days from day one.
The V-Series is the newer generation of the 19X. It keeps everything people liked about the Gen5 setup, including the no-finger-groove grip, ambidextrous slide stop, and lanyard loop, while folding in an internal redesign aimed at smoother, more reliable function. Worth knowing up front: V-Series internal parts aren't cross-compatible with older Glock models, so keep that in mind if you stockpile spares.
The 4.02-inch quad-ported barrel is the headline of this build. The ports vent gas up through cuts in the barrel and slide, which pushes the muzzle down and cuts felt recoil and muzzle rise. The practical payoff is faster, flatter follow-up shots and an easier time staying on the dot through a string of fire. It's the kind of upgrade that makes a noticeable difference once you start shooting it side by side with a stock gun.
No separate optic purchase, no figuring out plates. The Holosun 407C X2 comes mounted on the RMR-cut slide. It runs a crisp 2 MOA red dot that's great for precise shot placement, and Holosun rates the battery life up to 50,000 hours on a mid setting. You also get Shake Awake to save power, a Solar Failsafe backup, and a side-loading battery tray so you can swap the CR1632 without pulling the optic and losing your zero. Yes, it comes with Glock night sights in addition to the mounted Holosun. Depending on the optic and sight heights, you may or may not get a full lower-third co-witness, but having backup irons is a smart setup in case the dot ever goes down.
It's a solid entry point since the optic comes mounted and zeroed-friendly out of the case, and the 2 MOA dot is easy to pick up. The full-size 19X grip gives you plenty to hold onto, and the ported barrel helps tame recoil while you build your dot tracking.
