The V-Series is Glock's latest baseline, and it keeps everything people already trust about the Gen5 platform while updating the internals. The firing pin lug is slimmer, the striker channel is narrower, and there are added ramps inside the slide, but the way it feels in the hand and on the trigger is pure Glock. Out front you still get the ambidextrous slide stop, the flared magwell for faster reloads, and a grip without the old finger grooves. One thing worth knowing is that V-Series internal parts are not cross-compatible with older Glock models, so plan your upgrades around the V platform.

However, V-Series internal parts are not cross-compatible with older Glock models, so verify fitment before buying any internal upgrades. It's best to shop parts made specifically for the V platform.
