The Glock 43X earned its spot as one of the most popular carry guns in the country by splitting the difference between a tiny micro nine and a full compact. This version takes that trusted platform and dresses it up in a custom Lavender Luxe Cerakote finish applied by Skydas, one of Glock's go-to custom finishing shops. Cerakote is a ceramic based coating that adds real wear and corrosion resistance, so the soft purple look is more than just a pretty face.
The standard 43X ships with 10 round magazines, but this configuration comes set up with flush-fit 15 round steel magazines that match the footprint of the factory mags. That means 15 plus one on board with zero change to the grip length or concealability. For a gun this slim, that capacity is a genuinely big deal, putting it in the same neighborhood as double stack compacts that are noticeably chunkier on the belt.
Underneath the finish, this is the 43X Rail, so the frame includes Glock's slim mounting rail for a compact light or laser. You also get the Safe Action striker fired trigger, a built-in beavertail, the short trigger distance from the Slimline series, and the match grade Glock Marksman Barrel with its improved rifling. At just over an inch wide, it rides comfortably inside the waistband all day, and holster support for the 43X platform is about as broad as it gets. It runs like every other Glock, which is to say it just runs, and the Lavender Luxe treatment makes it one you will want to show off at the range.
This configuration ships with flush-fitting 15 round steel magazines instead of the factory 10 round polymer mags. They use a staggered internal geometry to fit five extra rounds in the same overall length, so the grip stays exactly as slim and concealable as any other 43X. Nothing about the frame or slide is different.
In most cases, yes. This is a 43X Rail, so it shares dimensions with every other railed 43X, and holsters made for the 43X Rail or 43X MOS will typically work. Cerakote adds a very thin layer, so fit should feel the same as a factory finish gun in a quality holster.
