This 12 gauge is built on an inertia-driven action, the same style of system that made certain Italian shotguns famous for running clean and cycling reliably in cold, wet duck blind conditions. Because inertia guns do not vent gas back into the action, the Huron stays cleaner longer and asks very little of you in the maintenance department.
The Huron wears a 28 inch barrel topped with a HIVIZ front sight and a mid bead, a combo that makes tracking crossing birds noticeably easier than a plain brass bead. The 3 inch chamber handles everything from light 2 3/4 inch target loads up to 3 inch magnum waterfowl shells, and the action will cycle light loads as long as they are pushing at least 1250 feet per second. The barrel is threaded for Benelli Crio style chokes, and the gun ships with five tubes: Cylinder, Improved Cylinder, Modified, Improved Modified, and Full. That covers everything from close skeet targets to long pass shooting, and aftermarket Crio pattern chokes are widely available if you want a specialty tube for turkey or waterfowl.
