Built for large-frame AR-10 and 7.62 NATO pattern rifles, it's 3D machined from a solid block of aircraft-grade 7075-T6 aluminum, so there's real substance to it the second you pick it up. The dual levers are extended beyond a standard AR-308 handle, which means faster, easier charging no matter which side you grab it from.
The levers borrow their shape from the M14 charging handle, with radius cuts on both the x-axis and y-axis for a rounded, natural feel under your fingers. Geissele added aggressive checkering across the handling surface too, so you keep a solid purchase when you're running the gun in the rain, in the cold, or with gloves on. It's a fully ambidextrous setup, so lefties and righties get the same clean manipulation without any compromise.
If you shoot suppressed or run a short barrel, you already know how much gas ends up in your face. The heightened rear lip on the SCH is designed to help redirect and mitigate that blowback, which is a genuine quality-of-life upgrade on a can-equipped .308. Every part gets finished in Type III hardcoat anodizing for corrosion resistance and long-haul durability, and it's offered here in a clean matte Black.
There's no true mil-spec standard on the large-frame AR the way there is on the AR-15, so fitment varies by rifle. Yes, it runs dual levers so you can charge the rifle from either side with the same feel and effort. The levers are also extended past a standard AR-308 handle, which makes grabbing and running the bolt quicker whether you're left or right handed. It's a nice fit for anyone who trains transitions or shoots support-side.
