Instead of a single continuous coil, this spring uses three independent strands of braided wire that flex separately from each other. The H1 weight is a solid middle ground for standard 5.56 NATO carbines with typical gas systems. If you run a suppressed setup or have a short barrel, you might want to consider stepping up to an H2 or H3, but for unsuppressed rifles with standard barrels, the H1 delivers solid performance.
