The Geissele Super Modular Rail (SMR) MK16 is a compact, free-floating M-LOK handguard designed for AR-15 platform uppers. At 10.5 inches long and machined from 7000 Series Aluminum, the rail balances rigidity and reduced weight while providing a continuous M1913 Picatinny section on top. The SMR MK16 is finished in a Type-3 Hardcoat anodize and is offered in Geissele’s Desert Dirt Color (DDC). Anti-rotation tabs and set-screws, along with the updated Geissele barrel nut design, secure the rail for consistent alignment and stable accessory mounting.
