Description
The Super Modular Rail (SMR) MK8 from Geissele Automatics is a free-float handguard engineered for AR-platform rifles. It uses Magpul M-LOK attachment points at the 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions and the upper 45-degree quadrants to provide modular accessory placement. Large venting in the lower 45-degree quadrants reduces weight and aids heat dissipation. A proprietary 2.25-inch barrel nut increases surface contact with the receiver to enhance rigidity and repeatable zero during disassembly and reassembly.
