The Franklin Armory G-S193 brings the company's patented Binary Firing System to the most popular carry pistol in the country. This is a complete slide and trigger kit built for the Glock 19 Gen 3, letting you flip between standard semi-auto and Binary mode on the fly. In Binary mode you fire one round on the pull and one round on the release, which tightens up your split times and puts fast pairs on target without a full-auto setup. The selector lives right on the slide, so switching modes is quick and the integrated back plate indicator tells you exactly where you stand without pulling your eyes off the sights.
Beyond the Binary trigger, the slide itself is a real upgrade over a factory Gen 3 unit. It comes cut for optics with adapter plates sold separately, and it ships with front and rear tritium night sights so you're squared away for low-light shooting right out of the box. The slide wears high-tactile front and rear serrations that give you a solid grip for racking or a press check, plus anti-glare serrations across the top stripe to cut reflection off the sight plane. It's a clean, aggressive look that gives your 19 that slide-mounted selector vibe.
One of the smartest features here is the ability to cancel the release round. If you decide not to send that second shot, just move the selector from Binary back to semi before you let the trigger out and the release round never fires. That built-in control is a big part of what makes the BFS setup practical for range work, competition, and recreational shooting.
Setup is straightforward for anyone comfortable with a Glock. You swap out your OEM trigger assembly for the one Franklin Armory supplies, then move your existing barrel and recoil spring assembly over into the G-S193 slide. If you aren't confident doing the work yourself, a qualified gunsmith or Franklin Armory armorer can handle the install. Getting quality training on how a Binary trigger operates before you run it live is always the right call.
In Binary mode the G-S193 fires one round when you pull the trigger and a second round when you release it, which speeds up your rate of fire and helps tighten fast pairs. You can also run it as a normal semi-auto by flipping the slide-mounted selector. If you don't want the release round to go off, move the selector back to semi before releasing the trigger and it gets cancelled.
It's built specifically for the Glock 19 Gen 3 and fits most G19 Gen 3 pistols. It is not designed for Gen 4, Gen 5, or other Glock models. Franklin Armory offers separate kits like the G-S173 for the Glock 17 Gen 3 and the G-S223 for the Glock 22 Gen 3.
You get a complete optics-ready slide with tritium night sights already installed plus the Binary trigger assembly. Installation involves swapping in the supplied trigger and moving your existing barrel and recoil spring assembly into the new slide. Anyone comfortable working on a Glock can usually handle it, though a gunsmith or Franklin Armory armorer can do the job if you'd rather not.
The slide is cut and ready for a red dot, but the adapter plates are sold separately so you can match the footprint of your chosen optic. The tritium front and rear night sights are included and installed. You'll just need to add the plate and optic of your choice.
