The Franklin Armory BFSIII BT-C1 brings the Binary Firing System GEN 3 to your B&T pistol caliber platform. This is a three-position trigger, and the magic happens in position three: you get one round on the pull and a second round as you let the trigger back out. That release shot is what tightens up your split times and lets you put two rounds close together with a single cycle of your finger. Position one is safe, position two is standard semi firing one round per pull, so you always have a familiar mode to fall back on.
The trigger runs an ambidextrous safety selector, so lefties and righties both get easy access without fumbling. Pull weight sits right around 4.5 pounds, giving you a clean, tactile break in both semi and binary modes. One of the smarter touches here is the ability to cancel that release shot by moving the selector out of binary mode while you hold the trigger back. This one is built for the B&T APC9, APC45, GHM9, GHM45, and SPC9, and it should also run in the Pro and K variants of those guns. A few B&T lowers may need a little light fitting to the interior plastic to seat the trigger properly, and that tweak stays reverse compatible with the OEM trigger if you ever want to swap back.
