This is a two set screw design, which is the most common and most forgiving way to mount a gas block. The screws thread into the side of the block and bear down on the barrel, and the whole thing comes off later if you ever want to swap rails or blocks. Fortis includes a stainless roll pin and both set screws in the box, so you're not scrambling for hardware mid-build. The internal diameter is held to tight tolerances for a snug fit on a .750 seat, which matters a lot for consistent gas flow and lockup.
Gas port alignment is the make-or-break step on any low profile block. Slide it on, rotate until the port in the block lines up dead center with the port in your barrel, and confirm with an alignment tool or dental pick before you snug anything down. A misaligned block is the number one cause of short stroking and over gassing. For a rock solid mount, most builders degrease the threads, add a dab of thread locker, and torque the set screws to spec. Dimpling the barrel underneath the screws or pinning the block gives you even more insurance against movement under hard, high round count use, especially on harder nitride barrels where smooth screws can struggle to bite.

Yes, it ships with a stainless roll pin and both set screws in the box. You'll still want a gas tube, a thread locker like blue Loctite, and the right hex key or torque tool to finish the job. Many builders also dimple the barrel or pin the block for extra hold, but that's optional and up to you.
Dimpling isn't required, but it creates a seat for the set screw tips and helps keep the block from rotating or walking forward under heavy use. It's especially worth considering on hard nitride barrels where smooth screws can have trouble biting in. If you're building a lighter-use target or hunting rifle, properly torqued screws with thread locker will usually hold just fine.
