The Fortis Camber Rail is the next step in the Camber lineup, built around the Camber Lock mounting system for people who want their handguard to sit dead solid with zero wobble. It runs on a stainless steel barrel nut paired with locking camber nuts, a combo that Fortis designed to give you real rigidity while still trimming weight where it counts. Machined from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum with a Type III hard-coat anodized finish, it's made to hold up to years of hard use and still look sharp doing it.
At 9.6 inches, this length pairs up nicely with a 10.3 or 10.5 inch barrel, making it a natural fit for shorter carbine and pistol builds where you want a compact, maneuverable front end. You get M-LOK slots at the standard 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions plus additional slots at the 1:30, 4:30, 7:30, and 10:30 spots, so mounting lights, switches, and grips exactly where your hand wants them is easy. The full-length Picatinny top rail gives you a continuous surface for optics, backup irons, and anything else that needs to run up top, and there are two QD sling sockets machined into the rear.
Installation is refreshingly straightforward. All you need is a quality castle nut wrench, which is not included, and the T30 Torx L-Key that comes in the box. Torque down the barrel nut, snug up the camber nuts, and you're locked in within a few minutes. Just as important, it comes back off cleanly when you need to service the barrel or gas system, so you're not fighting the rail every time you do maintenance.

The 9.6 inch Camber Rail pairs up nicely with a 10.3 or 10.5 inch barrel, which makes it a great match for carbine and pistol length builds. If you're running a different barrel or gas system, check your overall length so the muzzle clears the front of the rail. When in doubt, measure your build before ordering.

Yes, the Camber Rail mounts to its own stainless steel barrel nut and does not touch the barrel, so nothing you attach to the rail puts pressure on the barrel itself. That free float design helps keep your accuracy consistent. The Camber Lock system is built to hold that lockup tight and wobble-free.
