Description
The Raider X RG PDW represents the next generation of Flux Defense's proven PDW chassis platform. Built on feedback from special operations units and thousands of everyday users, this chassis transforms your P320, M17, or M18 into a personal defense weapon that bridges the gap between a handgun and a carbine.
This system comes in Ranger Green finish and includes an integrated folding brace, Picatinny rail system, and a dual-magazine layout that sets it apart from simple grip upgrades. When collapsed, it measures 11 inches in length, extending to 18 inches with the brace deployed. The entire chassis weighs just 18 ounces, keeping your setup lightweight while the assembled system tops out around 40 ounces.
Raider X RG PDW Performance Improvements
Flux engineered over a dozen refinements into the Raider X design. The frame uses a single-gate mold to eliminate weak points that can occur in multi-gate construction, delivering a stronger platform. Magazine retention got a serious upgrade with a stronger catch spring and overtravel stops that prevent magazines from being inserted too far. The slide channel itself was raised to accommodate adjustable iron sights better, while the molded-in insert for the ejection spring bolt improves long-term reliability compared to pressed-in fasteners.
Built for Modern Ergonomics
The grip and magwell were redesigned from user feedback, giving you better access to the safety levers and magazine release. That integrated magazine carrier in front isn't a vertical grip, but it does function as a spare ammo storage while providing a natural support-hand position. The dual-function magazine release lets you drop just the spare with partial pressure or release both magazines simultaneously with full pressure. Quick-detach sling mounting points on both the frame and brace keep your setup versatile for different carry styles.
Compatibility runs across P320, M17, and M18 platforms in 9mm, .40 S&W, and .357 SIG. Keep in mind that compact and subcompact P320 variants need a threaded barrel, compensator, or suppressor due to muzzle positioning within the chassis. The system does not work with P320 XTEN variants, .45 ACP models, suppressor-height iron sights, or 15-round magazines.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the Raider X RG PDW work with all P320 models?
It's compatible with most P320, M17, and M18 pistols in 9mm, .40 S&W, and .357 SIG. However, it does not work with P320 XTEN, .45 ACP variants, suppressor-height iron sights, or 15-round magazines. Compact and subcompact P320s require a threaded barrel, compensator, or suppressor due to muzzle position.
How long does installation take?
Installation is straightforward and typically takes less than five minutes. You remove your P320 slide and fire control unit, install the FCU into the Raider X chassis, and reinstall your slide. Flux provides instructional videos to walk you through the process if you need guidance.
What makes the Raider X different from the original Raider?
The Raider X includes over a dozen upgrades developed from special operations and customer feedback. Improvements include a stronger reinforced frame with single-gate mold design, overtravel magazine stops, enhanced mag catch springs, better optic rail clearance, improved ergonomics around the grip and safety, and a redesigned magwell with better retention.
Can you use slide-mounted optics with this chassis?
No. The Raider X features a molded Picatinny rail on the rear hood for mounting optics. The raised slide channel accommodates adjustable iron sights for co-witnessing, but slide-mounted red dots cannot be used due to the rear enclosure design, which is there for structural strength and durability.
