Off-body and bag gun carry has always had one weak link, and it's the sling. Loose webbing snags on zippers, flops around when you don't want it to, and never stows small enough to stay out of the way. Flux Defense built the Ripcord to fix all of that, and this Ranger Green version gives you the same fast-deploying single-point setup in a color that blends in a little better than black or gray.
The whole design centers around a stretchy elastic sleeve that keeps the webbing folded flat and tucked against the gun until you actually need it. When it's time to go, you grab the exposed tab and pull, and the sling rips free from the sleeve in one motion, ready to go over your head or shoulder. Repacking it takes a few seconds once you get the fold pattern down, and then your PDW is back to a clean, snag-free profile.
Flux Defense didn't cut corners on materials here. The webbing itself is military-spec parachute nylon rated to 600 lbs, so it's got plenty of margin for retaining a compact carbine or pistol-caliber platform under real use. The attachment point is a heavy-duty steel QD swivel with a recessed button, which matters more than it sounds like it should, since a shallow button is exactly what causes accidental releases when a sling gets bumped around inside a bag or vehicle. Dual sliders let you dial the length in for your body and your carry style, and the whole rig only adds about 2 ounces to your setup.
This was designed around the Flux Raider and similar lightweight PDWs, but the QD hardware means it'll work with anything sporting a compatible QD socket, and it's easy to swap over to HK-style hooks if that's what your platform runs. The single-point configuration makes shoulder transitions fast in close quarters, which is really the whole point of running a PDW in the first place. It's Berry compliant and made start to finish in the USA, so you're getting consistent build quality along with the color match.
It uses a steel quick-detach swivel with a deeply recessed release button, which fits any standard QD socket on your firearm or chassis. That recessed design is intentional, since it makes accidental release far less likely when the gun is being carried in a bag or bounced around during movement. If your platform uses HK-style hooks instead, the hardware can be swapped out easily.
